盧盼澄 Crystal LO

Crystal (she/her) is a Registered Creative Arts Therapist with the Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapies Association (ANZACAT). She obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) Major in Ballet at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) and followed by the Master of Creative Arts Therapy, specialized in Dance/Movement Therapy at the University of Melbourne. Besides from her therapeutic work, Crystal is also a dance teacher and artist. One of her performance piece was in The Lost Adults by Theatre de la Feuille acting as the Tinkerbell.

During her study at HKAPA, Crystal started to rethink the value of arts and dance, which is not only as an art form, but also a therapeutic tool. This led her to the role of being a Creative Arts Therapist. Crystal’s work covers people of all ages from children to young people, from adults to elderlies, from able persons to people with disability. In her therapeutic work, she upholds the person-centered and dance/movement therapies approach. She respects all the participants and welcomes their supporting communities to be involved throughout the whole process of therapy.
